Bilal is a Lombard resident committed to the civic empowerment of underrepresented communities. He serves as The New Bloc's liaison for the IL-6th District race, monitoring candidate activity and keeping Muslim and Arab-American voters in the southwest suburbs informed and engaged.

A well-known figure in Bronzeville, Olu Gordon is a community leader and proud member of the Salaam Community Wellness Center. He serves as The New Bloc's liaison for Illinois House District 13, tracking the race and keeping Muslim voters informed and engaged.
